Loro Parque
Loro Parque (Spanish for "parrot park") is a 13.5-hectare (33-acre) zoo located on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz on Tenerife, Spain where it houses an extensive and diverse reserve of animal and plant species. The park was initially conceived as a paradise for parrots and has developed over the years into one of the biggest attractions of the Canary Islands, with over 40 million visitors so far. The Loro Parque has a whole variety of animals and shows such as the orcas, dolphins and seahorses shows. It is the best zoo in Europe and the second best in the world.
Siam Park
Siam Park is a Loro Parque owned water park in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It is located on the TF1 highway in Costa Adeje. According to TripAdvisor it has become the best water-park in the world. The park was opened by Her Royal Highness the Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It organises also music events that take place during the summer period. It is a unique experience that should be on your bucket list.
Golf del Sur
For the golf lovers Golf del Sur is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Tenerife. The landscape is dominated by lush greens and fairways, palm trees, ravines and indigenous plants. Here the sport is just an excuse. Obviously, there are driving ranges and club houses including a 27 hole championship course. Teide National Park
Teide National Park is the biggest park on the Canary Islands. It is a trip that should be at the top of the must-see list of everyone who visits Tenerife. A unique landscape of craters, volcanoes and rivers of petrified lava, surrounding the impressive silhouette of Teide Volcano that stands at 3,718 m. above sea level. Botanical Gardens
Since its inauguration, around the 18th century, it has become one of the most important botanical gardens in the world.It is a huge place, covering around 20,000 square metres.
One of the main exhibits has to be the Coussapoa Dealbata, a tree from South America, unusual in its mass of intertwining trunks - looking like something out of a horror film. There are around 50 different species of this tree and this one has to be one of the most spectacular. It is the perfect experience for nature lovers.
Beaches in Tenerife
Tenerife has many of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The closest beach to Atlantic View is Playa Las Galletas which is a beach mostly visited by the locals. Next, Playa El Medano is for the windsurfers and water-sports lovers, and Playa del Duque is for the ones that aim for relaxation and nice ambience.
